Hi, my name is Jeanine Moulden. I grew up in Charlestown, MA where my love of real estate began. I graduated from Suffolk University with a determination to start buying and flipping properties in my hometown of Charlestown, MA.

I purchased my first two-family home with my husband in 1997. I converted this home into two condominiums and renovated them for rental and eventually sold them for great profit, which catapulted me into more and more investing opportunities in Charlestown.

My next move was to start investing in areas that I felt were good opportunities to spearhead my love of short-term rentals, which to me has been a game changer in my investment portfolio. In 2012, I bought a multifamily property on Martha's Vineyard, MA and started renting by the day instead of by the month. I quickly realized that I could make the mortgage payment in a week instead of a month.

For the past seven years, I have been an Airbnb host and property manager for six properties: three in Rockport, MA, two on Martha's Vineyard, and my newest property on Lake Mascoma, NH. This lakefront property was my first 1031 exchange (when you sell an investment property and, to defer capital gains tax, you purchase another investment property—which can be a bit tricky).

This is where my passion for real estate and investing becomes beneficial to guiding clients in either buying or selling their home. I know the ins and outs of thinking outside the box—how a simple coat of paint and staging can add thousands of dollars to a home’s value or create instant equity.

My experience has taught me to buy properties with potential or “good bones” in desirable neighborhoods. With a little love and elbow grease, a home can be transformed into your DREAM HOME.
